We were delighted to be appointed main contractor for the refurbishment works at Dusk in York. Working alongside the talented designer JA!COCO! we carried out a full refit on the space giving it a new lease of life to create a warm and fun space where all are welcome.

Dusk is a compact, quirky cafe & coffee house by day and a cosy cocktail bar with live music by night based in York. But they are also a key part of the local community.

The client required an element of discretion while works were being carried out due to nature of their reputation which we were able to accomodate.

Our team travelled down to York to carry out the works and we ensured that throughout the project we had an open line of communication with the client. This was to ensure that despite being down in England the client didn’t feel at any time at a disadvantage working with a company based in Scotland.

It was key that as part of the refresh, they space did not lose its’ unique identity. So working closely with the designer, we were able to combine their bold colour pallets and bespoke production in order to produce unique elements to give Dusk a new lease of life whilst retaining the essence of who they are.
